Survey Findings – Overwhelm and Overeating Biggest Holiday Challenges

iStock_000004276320XSmall-1I recently sent a survey to my followers inquiring what are their biggest health challenges over the upcoming holiday season from Thanksgiving to New Years.  I was blown away by the number of responses I got and  I promised that I would share the results, so here goes.

46% of people said they get overwhelmed and stressed with all the tasks they need to do and often things that need to get done don’t get accomplished.

45% of people said they turn to comfort foods to deal with stress, which then causes more stress.

39% of people said there are too many distractions, holiday meals and parties and they don’t always pay attention to what they are eating.

57% of people said they have difficult saying no to others, and their own needs end up on the back burner.

In addition, when I asked what one question you would ask me about how you can stay healthy during the holiday season, some of the questions were:

“How can I resist all temptation?”

“Why do I feel it’s necessary to binge during the holiday season?”

“What is the best way to deal with holiday parties?”

“How can I manage to say no to the holiday treats when everyone else is eating those yummy cakes?”

I know this all seems so overwhelming, especially if you’ve struggled with emotional eating and dieting for a long time.

But I’ve got some great news for you.

I’m excited to invite you to join me on a special free training call that will help you turn your holiday challenges into success.
