Welcome to my blog!  I am a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator.  I have been thinking for a long time about starting a blog but never moved past that thinking stage.  I have now decided to take the plunge.

I am excited to share nutrition tips and suggestions with you to help you improve your nutritional health and promote healthy lifestyle changes.  Please feel free to post comments and make suggestions for topics you would like to see in future blog posts.

      You don’t have to live hungry’ to lose wihegt. If you just eat less, then you’ll probably lose muscle tone and have lower energy levels plus, constant hunger for life is so unappealing and it’s difficult to maintain will-power. I prefer to eat as much food as I want to feel satisfied, but 90% of what I eat is packed with nutrition that my body needs. Now, I have the energy to exercise and build muscle and the muscle in turn burns more calories and helps me drop body fat.
