Break out the Bubbly for National Champagne Day!
It’s time to raise your glasses for National Champagne Day! New Year’s Eve is just a few days away which means that now is the perfect time to break out the bubbly stuff and celebrate with friends and family.
What makes champagne so unique are the crisp bubbles in every glass. Unlike other wines, champagne ferments in the bottle to trap the CO2, giving it its effervescence. While a great glass of champagne can stand on its own, there are ways to make it even more delicious.

Celebrating Without Resolutions
Uh-oh, the New Year is coming-cue the long list of resolutions! So, you’ve probably made a resolution or two for the New Year in hopes to follow them through. But let’s face it, sometimes that can be a challenge. For some, setting resolutions can be a way to “start fresh,” but for others, it is a whole lot of pressure. Instead, the best way to reach your goals may be to ditch the resolutions and make a promise to yourself and your body.
Instead of creating “resolutions,” make goals you want to accomplish for yourself. When your goals are set out, you may find they can be more easily obtainable.
Start Small- Create small goals for yourself, throughout the week, such as being more mindful when eating. That way you can achieve small victories throughout the month leaving you feeling more accomplished.
Make Specific Goals- Create a timeline for your goals and lay out what you want to get done so you map out a clear plan.
Lose the Guilt- The biggest issue with New Year’s resolutions is when they don’t get accomplished you tend to feel guilty or let down. It’s okay to fail! If one thing doesn’t get accomplished, you can revisit the task at another time.
Tell A Friend- Let others in on the goals you set forth. Find an accountability partner such as a friend, coworker, or family member.
Write it Down- Grab a journal, or even a sticky note, and write down your goals. Seeing them each day can motivate you and keep you going.
Spruce up Your Glass
Champagne is known for its dry, tart flavor. However, there are ways to spruce up your glass with some delicious pairings. Remember to drink responsibly and enjoy!
Add some Berries- Adding in a few fresh berries to your glass of champagne is a great way to enhance the flavor. Try out blueberries, strawberries, or cranberries!
Pair with Cheese- Break out the cheese boards because cheese goes great with champagne! Try out mozzarella, cheddar, or Swiss.
Add a Splash of Juice- Add in some orange or cranberry juice to spruce up the flavor.
Stay safe and enjoy the New Year!
