All You Need is a Sandwich

Is there anything better than a sandwich? Did you know that the sandwich was created by John Montagu, fourth Earl of Sandwich? And… the reason he created it was because he refused to leave his gaming table to eat dinner.

See, the best part of a sandwich is you can eat it at breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and you can eat it anywhere! You can also get creative and customize your sandwich with a variety of meats, cheeses, vegetables, condiments, sauces, and bread.

Even though yesterday was National Sandwich Day, I’d like to celebrate the sandwich all week!

Traditional Types of Sandwiches

Here in the United States, we have some pretty delicious sandwich inventions. The cheesesteak and sloppy Joe are American classics. Po boys ( a traditional sandwich from Louisiana) and grilled cheese are great too. And let’s not forget some of these other delicious options: BLT, Club, French Dip, and last but not least, The Peanut Butter and Jelly.
